The Early Years
Custom Made Rads Ltd is a family run business creating custom made aluminium radiators for classic cars, racing cars, motorbikes and other restoration projects in addition to other welded aluminium products. I come from a long family line of Engineers and Motor Engineers and grew up with a keen interest in cars and bikes as my father owned his own garage. I was always tinkering in his garage from a very young age.
Learning how to make custom made aluminium radiators
After I studied mechanics at college, I began working as a motor racing mechanic which was a great experience for me as it taught me a lot. From that, I became interested in how car parts were made and wanted to explore this all the more. Next I began producing stainless steel exhausts and enjoyed it so much that it made me want to expand my knowledge further, resulting in my learning how to do aluminium welding and produce custom radiators. This led to my becoming an Auto Radiator Engineer building custom made aluminium radiators.
I joined the RAF, once again to expand my knowledge in this field, while also fulfilling a childhood dream. Now we run our own custom made aluminium radiators business making custom radiators, inter-coolers and oil coolers to showcase the experience and skills I have learnt throughout the years. Our aim is to give our customers the best quality products we can, as we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction. This is paramount to us as we consider only the best will do.
